Join Captain Tempest and his fearless crew on an Inter-Galactic adventure which will be hurtling through space from Wednesday 13th to Saturday 16th March at the Cecil Hepworth Playhouse in Walton-on-Thames.  Throw in a mad scientist, his wife, a hard and bitter woman, their beautiful daughter, and his robot and you have a show you’ll remember for light years to come.  This high energy party will be exploding with a bevy of 50s and 60s rock ‘n’ roll classics, including red hot hits such as Great Balls of Fire, Good Vibrations, Young Girl, Only the Lonely and many more!

‘Return to the Forbidden Planet’ is a Jukebox musical by playwright Bob Carlton based on Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ and the 1950s science fiction film ‘Forbidden Planet’ (which itself drew its plot loosely from ‘The Tempest’).

The naive crew/chorus of the Inter-Galactic Starship Albatross worked their little socks off in the most intense production ever experienced by a chorus, and delivered a spectacular evening of Shakespearian Space Flight.

You’ve flown round the world in ‘Boarding Now’, now fly round the Galaxy in ‘Return to the Forbidden Planet’!
